Read a random definition: Request to admit

A quick definition of nonimmigrant visa:

A nonimmigrant visa is a type of visa that allows people from other countries to temporarily stay in the United States for different reasons, such as studying, working, tourism, business, or medical care. There are more than 30 categories of nonimmigrant visas, each with a letter designation and specific requirements. Some examples include B visas for short-term visitors, F visas for students, H visas for temporary workers, and O visas for individuals with extraordinary abilities. The visa type depends on the purpose of travel, and once issued, the visa is placed in the traveler's passport. For more information, visit the United States Department of State website.

A more thorough explanation:

A nonimmigrant visa is a type of visa that allows foreign nationals to temporarily stay in the United States for various purposes such as study, work, tourism, business, medical care, and more. The visa is placed in the traveler's passport once issued. The type of nonimmigrant visa required is determined by the applicant's purpose of travel.

There are over 30 categories of nonimmigrant visas, each with a letter designation. Some examples include:

  • B-1: Temporary visitors for business
  • B-2: Temporary visitors for pleasure/tourism
  • F-1: Students
  • H-1B: Workers in specialty occupations
  • J-1: Exchange visitors
  • O-1A: Individuals with extraordinary ability or achievement in sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics
  • P-1A: Athletes who attend an internationally recognized level of sustained performance
  • Q: International cultural exchange program participants
  • U-1: Victims of criminal activities
  • T-1: Victims of human trafficking

The purpose of entry and the applicant's qualifications determine the type of nonimmigrant visa required. For example, a foreign student attending an academic institution in the United States would need an F-1 visa, while a worker in a specialty occupation would need an H-1B visa.

Overall, nonimmigrant visas allow foreign nationals to temporarily stay in the United States for various purposes, but they must leave the country once their visa expires or their purpose of travel is complete.

I mean, idk how it's possible to end birth right citizenship without amending the constitution because to me the 14th amendment is pretty clear about it.
ross ulbricht tried to hire a hitman to kill 5 people
i am not that sympathetic to him

@KnowledgeableRitzyWasp: That might have been an FBI agent. It was most likely him and he was most likely doing it to retrieve stolen funds that corrupt FBI agents stole, but yeah moral gray area but me personally, cool with hitmen. It's not like it is uncommon to hire hitmen. I don't think the action itself is necessarily wrong but the intent behind it can be.

Like, Boeing whistblowers being killed by hitmen = wrong but a guy hiring hitmen to retrieve stolen funds = good to me.

@Dkk: Yeah, for sure. My guess is it'll go to SCOTUS and it'll be 8-1 or 7-2, saying that EO was unconstitutional.
