notice of trial

Read a random definition: defensor

A quick definition of notice of trial:

Notice of Trial: A paper from the court that tells everyone involved in a lawsuit when the trial will happen. The court usually sends it to everyone, but sometimes one person has to send it to everyone else.

A more thorough explanation:

A notice of trial is a legal document that a court issues to inform all parties involved in a lawsuit of the date on which the trial will take place. This notice is usually sent to all parties by the court, but sometimes one party may be instructed to send it to the others.

John and Jane are involved in a lawsuit over a property dispute. The court has set a trial date for their case, and they both receive a notice of trial informing them of the date and time of the trial. The notice also includes any other important information, such as the location of the trial and what they need to bring with them.

Another example could be a notice of trial for a criminal case. The defendant and the prosecution would both receive a notice of trial informing them of the date and time of the trial.

These examples illustrate how a notice of trial is a formal document that provides important information about when a trial will take place. It is important for all parties involved to receive this notice so they can prepare for the trial and ensure they are present on the correct date and time.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
