A quick definition of pedigree:

Term: PEDIGREE

Definition: A pedigree is like a family tree that shows the history of your family. It tells you who your ancestors are and how they are related to each other. It helps you understand where you come from and who your family members are.

A more thorough explanation:

Definition: A pedigree is a record of a family's ancestry or lineage, showing the relationships between generations. It is a history of family succession.

Examples:

  • A dog breeder might keep a pedigree of their breeding stock, showing the lineage of each dog and their ancestors.
  • A genealogist might create a pedigree chart to trace a family's history back several generations.
  • A royal family might have an elaborate pedigree, showing the succession of monarchs over many centuries.

These examples illustrate how a pedigree is used to track and record family lineage. In each case, the pedigree provides a visual representation of the relationships between individuals and their ancestors, allowing for a better understanding of their family history.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
Give it 4 more weeks at least. Everyone in this chat needs to wait longer.
