A quick definition of pro defectu justitiae:

Term: PRO DEFECTU JUSTITIAE

Definition: Pro defectu justitiae is a Latin phrase that means "for defect or want of justice." It refers to situations where justice is not served or where there is a lack of fairness in a legal system or decision.

A more thorough explanation:

Pro defectu justitiae is a Latin term that means "for defect or want of justice."

One example of pro defectu justitiae is when a person is wrongly accused of a crime and is not given a fair trial. This can happen when there is a lack of evidence or when the legal system is biased against certain groups of people.

Another example is when a person is denied their basic human rights, such as the right to freedom of speech or the right to a fair wage. This can happen when there is a lack of laws or regulations to protect these rights, or when those in power choose to ignore them.

The examples illustrate the definition of pro defectu justitiae by showing how a lack of justice can lead to unfair treatment and violations of human rights. When justice is not served, innocent people can be punished and guilty people can go free. This can create a society that is unjust and unequal, where some people have more power and privilege than others. It is important to strive for justice in all aspects of life, from the legal system to the workplace to our personal relationships.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
