A quick definition of representee:

Term: Representee

Definition: A representee is someone who is being told something by another person. For example, if your friend tells you that a new restaurant is really good, you are the representee. If the information turns out to be wrong and you suffer a loss, you may be able to claim damages from the person who made the representation.

A more thorough explanation:

Definition: A representee is a person to whom a representation is made.

For example, if a car salesman tells a potential buyer that a car has never been in an accident, the potential buyer is the representee. If it turns out that the car has been in an accident, the representee may have legal recourse against the salesman for making a false representation.

The term "representee" is often used in legal contexts, particularly in cases involving misrepresentation. In such cases, the representee may be entitled to damages if they can prove that they suffered harm as a result of the misrepresentation.
