Read a random definition: duplicate-claiming rejection

A quick definition of res non est integra:

Term: RES NON EST INTEGRA

Definition: This Latin phrase means that something has changed from its original state because it has been used or performed in some way. It could be a whole or partial change, but it is no longer in its original condition.

A more thorough explanation:

RES NON EST INTEGRA

Res non est integra is a Latin term that refers to a situation where the original position has changed due to performance taking place, either in whole or in part.

1. A piece of land that has been developed for commercial purposes is an example of res non est integra. The original position of the land has changed due to the construction of buildings and other structures.

2. A car that has been driven for several years is another example of res non est integra. The original condition of the car has changed due to wear and tear, and the performance of the car has been affected.

The examples illustrate the concept of res non est integra by showing how the original position of something has changed due to performance. In the case of the land, the construction of buildings and other structures has altered the original state of the land. Similarly, in the case of the car, the wear and tear that comes with driving has changed the original condition of the car. These examples demonstrate how performance can impact the integrity of something, leading to a change in its original position.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
