A quick definition of securitate pacis:

Securitate Pacis: A legal term that means "of security of the peace". It refers to a writ that can be obtained by someone who is afraid of being physically harmed by another person, especially when they have been threatened with violence. This writ is also known as securitatis pacis or writ of threats.

A more thorough explanation:

SECURITATE PACIS

Securitate pacis (si-kyoor-i-tay-tee pay-sis) is a legal term that refers to a writ issued to someone who fears bodily harm from another person. This writ is issued when the person has been threatened with violence and needs protection from the law.

For example, if someone receives threatening messages or phone calls from another person, they can apply for a securitate pacis writ to protect themselves from harm. The writ will order the person making the threats to stay away from the victim and refrain from any violent behavior.

Another example is when a person is being stalked by someone and fears for their safety. They can apply for a securitate pacis writ to prevent the stalker from coming near them or contacting them in any way.

The examples illustrate how securitate pacis is used to protect individuals from harm and ensure their safety. The writ is issued by the court to prevent any violent behavior or threats from the person causing harm. It is an important legal tool that helps maintain peace and security in society.

I mean, idk how it's possible to end birth right citizenship without amending the constitution because to me the 14th amendment is pretty clear about it.
ross ulbricht tried to hire a hitman to kill 5 people
i am not that sympathetic to him

@KnowledgeableRitzyWasp: That might have been an FBI agent. It was most likely him and he was most likely doing it to retrieve stolen funds that corrupt FBI agents stole, but yeah moral gray area but me personally, cool with hitmen. It's not like it is uncommon to hire hitmen. I don't think the action itself is necessarily wrong but the intent behind it can be.

Like, Boeing whistblowers being killed by hitmen = wrong but a guy hiring hitmen to retrieve stolen funds = good to me.

@Dkk: Yeah, for sure. My guess is it'll go to SCOTUS and it'll be 8-1 or 7-2, saying that EO was unconstitutional.
