suggestio falsi

Read a random definition: economic rent

A quick definition of suggestio falsi:

Term: SUGGESTIO FALSI

Definition: Suggestio falsi means telling a lie or giving false information to mislead someone. It is like when someone says something that is not true to make you believe something that is not real. It is the opposite of suppressio veri, which means hiding the truth.

A more thorough explanation:

Definition: Suggestio falsi is a Latin term that means a false representation or misleading suggestion. It refers to a statement or claim that is not true or accurate, and is intended to deceive or mislead someone.

Example: A company advertises a product as "all-natural" when in reality, it contains artificial ingredients. This is an example of suggestio falsi because the company is making a false representation of the product to mislead consumers into thinking it is healthier or more natural than it actually is.

Explanation: The example illustrates suggestio falsi because the company is intentionally making a false claim about their product to deceive consumers. This type of false representation can be harmful because it can lead people to make decisions based on inaccurate information, which can have negative consequences for their health, finances, or other areas of their life.

Gecko what's ur dream school
Hard to say. I'm pretty firmly committed to the philly area so probably temple or villanova
Also relatively debt averse so I'd have to get a good scholarship from BC or Fordham to want to go but that's not very likely for me
Any advice? lol

what’s a good scholarship for you? what would make BC or Fordham worth it?
12:25
Hmmmm let me think

fordham’s max aid they give is 45k per year
Bunny I can possibly get a 75%+ scholarship from villanova or temple, and I'd be moving back in with my parents if I went there so I'd have near-zero COL. It'd be really hard to beat that
I would prefer BC over Fordham just because I like boston more, but I'm expecting a WL there tbh
I would maybe consider BC with $ but I don't know how to decide if a better biglaw chance is worth the COL + higher tuition
