Take from the table: When a group of people, like a parliament, have a lot of things to talk about, sometimes they need to stop talking about one thing and talk about something else. They can "table" the first thing, which means they put it aside for later. When they are ready to talk about it again, they "take it from the table." This just means they start talking about it again.
