I think maybe they give preference to in state studnets for schollies? Mine specifically said "Georgia Scholar" in the letter
im looking at the list of studens on this site. they seem to give a ton of weight to gpa. I see a guy with a 155 and a poly sci 3.8 and he got a ton of money
thats what i get for a stem major lol
yeah fellow poli sci 3.8 with $$$ here lol
Anyone thinking of attending ? I’m still waiting to hear back from other schools but I got a nice scholly so I’m def heavily considering !
Anyone hear from the woodruff scholarship?

ever was so nice. ive been to many other open houses and i thought mercer made the best first impression.
Just got an email saying I didn't get the Woodruff Scholarship - if you haven't gotten that email, turn your ringer on!! and congrats!!
11:04
I also received an email re the Woodruff scholarship
Has anyone received general scholarship/financial aid info yet, or MyMercer login to pay seat deposit, etc.
got a scholarship offer with my letter in the mail, mymercer came this week
Is it too late to apply rn?
I just got my letter last night, scholarship info was in the acceptance packet - I got it about a week after my email
How does everyone feel about the conditional scholarships?
are they actually coniditional? letter claimed that the min was "good academic standing"
it just seems weird because i guess their grading scale isn't 4.0 like most everyone else
@Mountaineer99: Mine specified 78 grade point average, I got the Georgia Scholar award
Same here, I’m just saying 78 is a weird scale
Is it out of 100?
11:40
hi everyone, i am wondering if anyone else on the WL has spoken to the adcomm about when we can expect movement (like after the seat deposit deadline) :)
@IntroLoves: I spoke to someone from admissions last week and was told they are starting WL review beginning of March. My status tracker also shows that I'm UR again as of 3/4! Best of luck :)
12:58
i'm back again with one more question: how soon after your A did you receive a scholarship offer?
about a week, came with the letter they sent in the mail
Has anyone asked them about a scholarship renegotiation?
someone advice how good this school is?
It's a fine regional school, especially if you want to practice in Middle GA. Not likely to land biglaw gigs but nothing predatory or anything like that
Anyone who got in this week did they call or just email?
Emailed, scholarship info came in a separate email a couple days later. Same email stated acceptance letter + packet was coming in the mail as well.
Thank you!
