When is the 2nd seat deposit
It may have already passed. I know there was one on May 20th
Just withdrew from my full ride offer at Alabama after having paid the $100 seat deposit. So now is definitely the time to ask Alabama for an increase in your offers or be on the look out for them to try to fill my spot. Good luck everyone!
Thanks for sharing! GL!
Does anyone know of them accepting anyone off the WL yet?
it seems impossible to get the admissions to answer. called and emailed them and radio silence
That’s surprising to hear! Their admissions office is the best I’ve dealt with. You may have much more luck contacting someone specific within the office 🤷‍♂️
Contact Dean Arrington if you can! They are probably just swamped right now.
She’s the GOAT but she’s in Texas so it may take a couple days 🫡🐘RTR
Are people starting to get their Alabama Scholars emails today?
Anyone know of any Bama admitted student discord or other group chat?
Full ride at Alabama!!!!
That’s amazing news!!! Welcome to the club!!! ROLL TIDE ROLL
Thank you! Any idea of when admitted students day is?
Not sure. I just got back from Tuscaloosa last week though. I def recommend reaching out and setting up an admitted students visit. They handled my travel, hotel, and even grabbed us lunch. Can’t promise every visit is like that, but I had a solid 5-6 hours to walk around the school and talk to students and staff. Lets just say I made my decision within the first hour; Bama is special ❤️🐘
Also….Harper Lee 😂🙌🙌
Wow, that's awesome. How did you go about setting up that visit if you don't mind me asking?
Just email admissions! I planned my stuff through Claude Arrington and Allison Barnard, who are amazing, but im
Sure anyone in the admissions office could help get ya started! Sorry, idk why it split my message 😂
Marcus Cotton is also a great contact. He’s a law school recruiter I believe and is chock full of info
Ok! Thanks for the info
Of course! Congrats again and maybe I’ll see ya there! 🫡🐘 p.s. check that bar pass rate compared to some T20s 💪💪
Median GPA is also crazy high too which I think is cool
Yeah, that’s another reason I chose Bama so quickly. It seems like more of my peers are trying all the time, not just on the LSAT 😅 I also plan to live and die in the southeast so it’s perfect. Hella clerks as well.
I would like to end up in the South as well, so I understand that
Are they making calls today?
At least some, I got one
anyone got just like an A package in the mail without any scholarship details
Is anyone else who applied for Alabama's expedited process anxiously looking at their phone waiting for a call?? Or is that just me?
From what I can tell, if you got the email inviting you to fill out the expedited application that's pretty much a guaranteed A. So no need to stress.
