For those applying this fall, is it rational to think my LSAT is exceptional for UTK? I have only taken the test once, and got a 165. This is an alright score, but it's 2 points above UTK's 75th percentile. Moreover, almost all applicants with my stat profile have been accepted. Since UTK is my goal school, retaking the LSAT seems like it will have diminishing returns or even hurt me if I do worse. I am a first gen student, so I am just looking for insight here.

If you have a 165 and a good application, you'll more than likely get in with very good scholarship money. If you think you can do better, take it again, but you'd be doing that for the sake of more money or applying to other schools.

Are you the same SlippinJimmy that got accepted into UTK with a 3.07 and a 164? If so, my stats are slightly better but not notably so. Your acceptance dot on the graph inspired me; do you have any advice for a student applying from a similar position?
14:30
Is this recent? Are they already making decisions?
I talked with UTK a month ago and they said majority of us will know before winter break so I am guessing in November

Fack this waiting is gonna kill me
Same, I know it isn't coming for another month or two yet I still refresh my stuff every hours just in case a miracle happens

@BulbasaurNoLikeCardio: Last year it looked like December was the first set of decisions
@Manysko: I am just hoping I know before January, got a family and need to move so I can't be waitlisted and told last minute
Wish that I was on old rocky top
