LSAT 172 GPA 3.92 2022–23 cycle

Admitted to Boston University

I disclosed a stigmatized disability in my diversity statement. Obviously, I spun it well and explained how it makes me a valuable asset, but I definitely think it could have affected my admissions results. So if you are trying to make the decision whether or not to disclose a disability, consider it fully.

LSAT 171 GPA 4.11 2020–21 cycle

Attending Georgetown University

regret: not applying early but very happy to be attending Georgetown! did why x (somewhat meaningful- had personal connection/reasons) for berkeley, umich. did penn core essay, did georgetown top 10 applied for ucla epstein program, was waitlisted applied for BU public interest program, was rejected

LSAT 171 GPA 3.74 2023–24 cycle

Admitted to Vanderbilt University

Ended up getting into a PhD program in a related field and opted for that. To be honest, I hated this application process and it was soul-sucking. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. That PhD applications were multitudes less stressful and demoralizing than those for law schools speaks volumes.

LSAT 172 GPA 3.83 2022–23 cycle

Attending University of Michigan

I applied so broadly because I wanted to try and negotiate scholarships. Unfortunately the only scholarship I was able to negotiate at all was at GULC. Looking back, I would have just blanketed the T20 + ND and ignored the rest, but I am nonetheless thankful for a successful cycle. GO BLUE!

LSAT 170 GPA 3.13 2020–21 cycle

Attending University of Notre Dame

I feel like my softs are closer to a Tier 3 but I’ve got one of the tier 2 bulletpoints on my resume so I guess I’m tier 2 Wrote Why X for: UVA / Michigan / Georgetown / Notre Dame Don’t ignore your GPA until it’s too late, kids Went UR3 (lol) at ND on 2/2 Got the HTE from NYU (lol)

LSAT 170 GPA 3.76 2024–25 cycle

Attending Boston University

Apply Early!! Like Sep or Oct You can apply for fee waivers on many top school’s websites based on merit! Not just financial aid stuff. Save your money! Also LSAC calculates GPA differently! May be higher or lower than a regular 4.0 scale. Use this GPA to calculate your chances.

LSAT 173 GPA 4.00 2021–22 cycle

Attending University of Pennsylvania

Took the LSAT once and used Khan Academy and Mike Kim’s LSAT Trainer to study. No significant work experience except for an on-campus part-time job. Wrote a PS about my experiences growing up as an immigrant, no DS. Wrote a “Why X” and supplemental essays when recommended.

LSAT 171 GPA 3.73 2023–24 cycle

Attending University of Michigan

Get good grades, take the LSAT seriously, and apply early. There is no such thing as a “lock,” and schools will surprise you both ways. I wish I applied to HYS but didn’t think my stats were good enough after I got my ED deferred from NYU. That was dumb. Cast a wide net.

LSAT 170 GPA 3.90 2024–25 cycle

Attending Boston University

2 years of part time public interest legal clerking. super kjd (3 years of undergrad/graduating at 20). lgbt. adverse childhood circumstances + clerking made up the bulk of my personal statement. happy with how my cycle turned out and grateful to be going to law school :-)

LSAT 164 GPA 3.89 2020–21 cycle

Admitted to Boston University

Duke UR3 3/7 Wrote a “Why X” for most schools. Work experience in the Department of State, two Middle Eastern embassies, and extensive volunteer experience in Morocco, as well as some customer service jobs and undergraduate research. Attended top liberal arts college.

LSAT 176 GPA 3.63 2021–22 cycle

Attending University of Virginia

I got my first acceptance in 3 days and my last in 183 days. In the 180 days in between I tried (and failed) to anticipate each and every decision and it compromised my mental health. My advice? Block this site and wait patiently for the emails like you’re supposed to.

LSAT 170 Int'l GPA Above Average 2020–21 cycle

Admitted to University of California—Los Angeles

American citizen that graduated from a UK Russell Group university with a 2:1. T3 - AmeriCorps, single-parent household, lots of volunteer and nonprofit work If I could turn back time I would’ve taken the LSAT again for a higher score and applied much earlier.

LSAT 173 GPA 3.30 2020–21 cycle

Admitted to Boston University

I wrote almost every optional statement, a diversity statement detailing how my background has shaped my experience /will influence my future legal perspective, and used GPA+LSAT addenda to balance my app as a splitter and explain a 16 point increase on the LSAT.

LSAT 169 GPA 3.99 2023–24 cycle

Admitted to University of California—Los Angeles

always have faith in yourself!!! you can get into a T14 without a 170. write some killer essays and get your apps in as early as you can but also when you feel confident in them (it’s okay to not have them in as soon as apps open - you are not late and not behind).

LSAT 170 GPA 3.77 2022–23 cycle

Attending University of Notre Dame

You are amazing and I hope for nothing but great things in your future ❤️💨🦭 If your wondering why ND, I absolutely loved my visit, I loved the idea of doing the London Law Program, and it was the cheapest of the schools I was truly considering (UCLA, Vandy, NDLS).
