shits rough now with all these new applicants each year schools that were more mid-range before are tougher now so generally prepare for that study hard and have faith in yourself

Graduated in 2019 and attended Touro Law where I was academically dismissed during my 1L. Had external circumstances but now that I am a paralegal in a big firm I am trying again.
It’s never too late to practice law if it’s something you want to do! Take the time to figure out if this career is one you want to follow, and then do so with all of your might!
Get your best possible GPA and LSAT. Write about what makes you who you are, discuss your identity. Apply early. Apply to lots of T14s. Negotiate your aid, communicate your needs.

Yea sure, you screwed up your GPA. You can’t go back. But there’s one last key left, go study for that LSAT and prove you aren’t who you used to be, there’s still doors to unlock.
Wrote LGBT diversity statement, submitted to all schools. Took the LSAT in August, retook in November, applied in January. Public interest focus noted in application materials

Ask for a fee waiver at every school you apply for, I received one at all 11 schools. Also NEGOTIATE YOUR SCHOLARSHIPS, it doesn’t hurt to ask and the worst they can do is say no!

Job too good, family too needy to pursue a FT program. PT and online for me :) Took the GRE only. 159v/161q/4.5w - the LSAT score in my profile is what ETS’s calculator tells me.
do not apply after january, do not assume your lsat score before taking it, do not assume you will get A. put your head down get good lsat score, apply to enough schools have fun

(1/14): Accepted to top choice of Yale in early January, withdrew majority of other applications, maintaining only schools that I would consider attending with a full scholarship.
