Apply early if you can! I think I owe my acceptances to the fact that I applied in September before the giant wave of winter applicants.
Do not feel discouraged. Do not care about prestige. Think about what will work best for you. Compare yourself to who you were yesterday.
Took me 9 months of hardcore studying to get from a 150–>174. If you have the resources, dedication, and attention span you can do it :)
My undergrad gpa was 3.74, grades from high school community college courses brought that down unfortunately to a 3.54 Rough cycle :/

All I can say is shoot your shot and apply to schools you can actually see yourself attending. DREAMS DO COME TRUE! I JUST GOT INTO UVA!

If you have low stats like me for the love of god apply early and get good letters of recommendation from people who actually know you.
Just want to leave a word of encouragement for my fellow serious C&F applicants, you can overcome your past. Don’t let it hold you back!
