Applicant wisdom

Advice applicants left on their LSD.Law profiles, searchable by topic, school, and stats.

LSAT 160 GPA 3.70 2024–25 cycle

Attending University of Maryland

Everyone makes it seem like if you aren’t above at least one of the medians, you will be waitlisted or rejected. I’m proof this isn’t the case! Of course ED helps. Probably being a STEM major doesn’t hurt either.

LSAT 161 GPA 2.81 2024–25 cycle

Attending Catholic University Of America

27, recently furloughed as apart of trumps BS. looking for a more stable career field. Preference in GOVT/HUM AID, but most likely will do Family/Immigration/Veteran/ADA law. No cost for law because of GI BILL.

LSAT 175 GPA 2.94 2023–24 cycle

Admitted to Washington University in St. Louis

Keep taking the LSAT. And take it in-person. I went 162 -> 168 -> 167 -> 168 -> 175. The last one was the only one I didn’t take at home or in a stupid hotel. Remote test-taking sucks. Go to the testing place.

LSAT 155 GPA 3.55 2022–23 cycle

Admitted to Catholic University Of America

Don’t burn yourself out!- I definitely did. Adding all my application stats here to hopefully help future years ppl compare when applying to similar schools and/or with similar stats!

LSAT 149 GPA 3.70 2022–23 cycle

Admitted to University of Kentucky

A low LSAT score is not necessarily a huge detriment to being admitted into law school. Your GPA and soft factors can go a long way, especially with a good personal statement!

LSAT 164 GPA 4.11 2025–26 cycle

Attending University of Maryland

Applying earlier would have likely to my getting accepted instead of waitlisted for a number of these schools

LSAT 162 GPA 3.14 2022–23 cycle

Attending Northeastern University

Don’t tell anyone why you really want to go to law school… it sounds pretentious. If anyone asks, tell them you thought it was a really sexy thing to do.
