Apply to peer schools of the school you want to attend to have competing scholarship offers to negotiate with. In hindsight I would have applied to more schools for more negotiation leverage.
Do your very best in undergrad. Once your GPA is finalized, that’s it. Also, take your time studying for the LSAT. Do not take the test until you are absolutely ready.
Apply broadly, especially if your a splitter. Got rejected by safeties and accepted by reaches. Worth the $45 now for the potentially of tens of thousands in the future.
You probably have a better chance than you think you do, so don’t let fear of rejection stop you! Half of acceptances are above the median, but half are below too.
I really want to be in Miami.
Only two things matter, LSAT and GPA. And GPA doesn’t really matter unless it’s 4.0+… Just study your heart out for the LSAT, trust.
Don’t be discouraged by this site or reddit. You’re only seeing about .05 of a percent of people that are applying on this site.
My GPA sucks because I didn’t care in undergrad (never knew I wanted to go to law school until after I graduated)
Bombed LSAT based on PT average of (170) Jan 2022. Decided to just apply late anyways and see what happens
Wish I would have submitted earlier - life got in the way but at least I hope I get some money soon!
Stay organized, stay focused, and never count yourself out no matter how hard it gets
Trust the process and do not let medians scare you because you are more than your numbers!
Apply to every possible school you can, even if you think you won’t get it. Do it anyway.
A wise man gets more from his enemies than a fool from his friends
After graduation you can work on your LSAT, you can’t work on your GPA.
Engineer :D took first LSAT in January 2021 so late(r) applicant!
APPLY EARLY ((increased odds of getting accepted and getting $$))
Take the lsat as many times as you can. Trust. Ask me anything!
