Applied with a 3.84 and GPA increased after first semester senior year. I transferred after my first year at a big public school to a tiny liberal arts school I took the LSAT 3 times, with one cancel, and two kept scores

Admitted to Rutgers UniversityDon’t pay for law school! Apply to a wide variety of schools and take the offer that maximizes job outcomes and minimizes debt. Good luck!
Had a 3.07 LSAC GPA and a 3.81 transcript GPA from an Ivy League for undergrad. Didn’t find that my GPA addendum (very serious heath issues leading to academic probation) made a lick of difference.
At the end of the day, I am someone who values being debt free. Getting a full-ride is going to allow me to put any loans towards housing/living expenses. Prestige is great, but I am a simple gal!
Slow yet steady, what is for me will come to me.
I have a low GPA but I have a clear upward trajectory and large gap between the bad semesters and the good ones for anyone wondering. I only took the LSAT one time, probably not a big factor.
Breathe. It will take some time to hear back but stay patient. Go to the gym, read, write, watch movies, do whatever you need to keep your mind active, and help the time go by faster.
Believe in yourself. You are a much more capable applicant than you think. Stay focused on the end goal and let everything else fall into place. I look forward to seeing you succeed.
Ask for a fee waiver at every school you apply for, I received one at all 11 schools. Also NEGOTIATE YOUR SCHOLARSHIPS, it doesn’t hurt to ask and the worst they can do is say no!
Try to visit schools and picture if you could see yourself living there. It’s 3 years of your life, so the choice of school can go beyond just the school itself, it’s life too.
Have a clear theme about who you are and what you want to do with law school throughout your application.

Unsolicited increase from Baylor. Solicited increased from Pittsburgh. Negotiations rejected on all other attempts (Richmond, PSU Dickinson, Temple).
first gen, low income, URM Got fee waivers from UConn, Emory, and Temple. All other schools (except Howard) did not have an application fee.
The school you are meant to attend will be the school you attend. As long as you keep trying, your story isn’t over and there is always hope.
Most of your life is out of your control. WL at all Jesuits lmao (they must not have liked all of my PI talk) 19 years of public school LFG
