Applicant wisdom

Advice applicants left on their LSD.Law profiles, searchable by topic, school, and stats.

LSAT 171 GPA 3.47 2023–24 cycle

Attending George Washington University

Spend more time studying for the LSAT than you think. As long as you are still learning, you should still be studying. Take good care of yourself and take as much time off as you need between undergrad and law school.

LSAT 160 GPA 3.84 2022–23 cycle

Attending University of Connecticut

Just about anyone can get into law school if they put their mind to it. Setting a target LSAT score and sticking to a strict study regimen is what worked for me, even if this seems rather obvious and sounds redundant.

LSAT 162 GPA 3.59 2021–22 cycle

Attending University of California (Hastings)

Take the LSAT 2-3 times until you score at or above your LSAT PT average. Give yourself 5+ months to study for the LSAT as well! Apply in September if you can, and definitely before Thanksgiving.

LSAT 162 GPA 3.01 2023–24 cycle

Attending St. John's University

I have a low GPA but I have a clear upward trajectory and large gap between the bad semesters and the good ones for anyone wondering. I only took the LSAT one time, probably not a big factor.

LSAT 175 GPA 3.79 2024–25 cycle

Attending University of Texas at Austin

Don’t overthink things, cross your t’s and dot you i’s, and most importantly be patient and relax (as much as you can), it is going to be okay, even if you don’t get into your dream school.

LSAT 163 GPA 3.13 2020–21 cycle

Attending Fordham University

Wrote diversity statement, gpa addendum, character and fitness addendum. All were of high quality, reviewed by multiple people and worked on tirelessly for months on end.

LSAT 163 GPA 3.10 2022–23 cycle

Attending St. John's University

Focus on your LSAT, it’s the only reason I could afford to go to law school. Do your research on different schools and don’t spend too much time on here. You can do it!

LSAT 154 GPA 3.84 2022–23 cycle

Attending St. John's University

Boohoo life sucks and you all know it but at the end of the day we are gonna see light at the end of the tunnel… Stay strong my future lawyer peeps. (◕︵◕)

LSAT 162 GPA 3.14 2022–23 cycle

Attending Northeastern University

Don’t tell anyone why you really want to go to law school… it sounds pretentious. If anyone asks, tell them you thought it was a really sexy thing to do.

LSAT 164 GPA 3.80 2023–24 cycle

Attending William & Mary Law School

Shooting my shot because why not? I got some fee waivers so I applied to schools I wouldn’t have otherwise. Expecting rejections but hoping for the best.

LSAT 162 GPA 3.85 2025–26 cycle

Attending University of Mississippi

I’m hiding in Honduras, I’m a desperate man Send lawyers, guns, and money The shit has hit the fan -Warren Zevon

LSAT 154 GPA 3.90 2022–23 cycle

Attending Charleston School Of Law

The waiting game is tough. You will get through it. Even if you do not get into your first choice, whatever happens happens. It will be for the best.

LSAT 180 GPA 4.00 2021–22 cycle

Admitted to Stanford University

Honestly, I have to say one thing if there wasn’t a max at $400,000 on the scholarships amount that I am able to input, they would be higher.

LSAT 169 GPA 3.78 2021–22 cycle

Attending Villanova University

If you’re reading this and yk who I am, keep it cool, but you see these stats I know you admiring…** **¯(ツ)/¯ I’m like that!!! -TD3
