Admitted to Charleston School Of LawThis process is long and challenging for a reason. It’s meant to weed out those who don’t have the willpower. Remember that you can do anything you set your mind to! ❤️
Respect the numbers, but do not worship them. Apply broadly, disclose honestly, and remember that some schools reward polish while others reward substance. The goal is not just admission—it is finding the place willing to invest in your future—at an ever-increasing opportunity cost.

Keep your GPA high. If your GPA is low, study hard for the LSAT. If your GPA & LSAT are low, build your resume to the moon. If all else fails, write the most influential and heart wrenching personal statement possible.
get some sleep. also stop checking your email and lawhub (i can’t stop either)
I ended up at CUNY Law and feel very much like I am in the right place for myself :) The application process is wild and I know how anxious you’re feeling if you landed on my page but I can tell you… I was terrified and as you can see, nervously applied to so many schools with my very average stats… but despite…

Apply wide. Really wide. Embarrassingly wide. Then let the dust settle and make the smartest boring decision available. Prestige is a fine thing until you’re paying for it with money you don’t have chasing outcomes that aren’t guaranteed. The humble path taken confidently beats the prestigious path taken anxiously…
Life didn’t end when I got a 126 on my diagnostic and a 146 on my first LSAT
Sometimes the obvious choice isn’t the best choice. Be confident in your decision and dreams and let it drive your future!
Don’t burn yourself out!- I definitely did. Adding all my application stats here to hopefully help future years ppl compare when applying to similar schools and/or with similar stats!
Stats aren’t everything. Tell your story!!!
study for the lsat for years literally
Choose a school that meets your goals and offers you the most money. Unless you’re biglaw, “prestige” doesn’t matter. Don’t be a dick to fellow applicants.
The waiting game is tough. You will get through it. Even if you do not get into your first choice, whatever happens happens. It will be for the best.
