You are amazing and I hope for nothing but great things in your future ❤️💨🦭 If your wondering why ND, I absolutely loved my visit, I loved the idea of doing the London Law Program, and it was the cheapest of the schools I was truly considering (UCLA, Vandy, NDLS).

Admitted to University of Florida (Levin)Do your best and trust that it will all work out. Regardless of what happens you will be rethinking law school by the end of you second week of 1L anyway haha Take the process but not yourself to seriously. You will end up where you are meant to be.
Score caveat: I retested during the cycle. I asked schools not to hold my file for future scores, so admits and denials should be considered with respect to my score at the time of submission/decision, not my final high score. Will probably attend based on some combination of cost of attendance and employment outcomes. Current ranking based on acceptances (pretty iffy on it) : Florida Georgia Indiana Arizona State Minnesota Iowa (scholarship pending)

Patience is a virtue!
i am brutally honest in my addenda and personal statements. im big, queer, and have had brushes with the law; there’s no sugarcoating that, and so i dont try to. Also I sent Yale a TikTok instead of doing their ‘college activities’ thing.
Apply to 15 - 30 schools. Generally, schools (outside T14) do not consider acceptances from competitors outside the metro when reconsidering scholarship packages. Leverage regional scholarship packages upward based on USN ranking.
Went from 163 in October➡️ 167 in November➡️ 172 in January, so if you think you can do better, try taking the LSAT again. Also, the extra month in between November and January LSAT helped. I’ll update this at the end. (◕︵◕)
Apply to any and every school you have an interest in (ask for fee waivers), see which schools accept you, weigh the scholarships with the prestige that each school carries, and then make the best decision for your future.
It’s okay for everything not to go to plan. You don’t NEED a 170+ LSAT and a perfect, stacked resume. You need persistence and hard work. You’ve got this!
Technically not KJD because I spent a year to get a Masters in between graduation from undergrad in ’21 and law school in ’22 but never worked full time. duke ur3 on 1/6/22 chicago ur3/4 on 1/18/22 & ur4/5 on 1/19/22
Spend more time studying for the LSAT than you think. As long as you are still learning, you should still be studying. Take good care of yourself and take as much time off as you need between undergrad and law school.
Submitted with a 3.80, Fall grades increased it to 3.83, Spring Grades to 3.85. Go Terriers! I loved my visit to BU which was the big decisive factor for me. I’m still going to ride some WL’s though (HLS and Mich).
Send it. Just absolutely send it. Have the confidence that regardless of where you end up you will be a successful attorney, everything else is out of your hands. All applications were submitted in early December.
Apply early in the cycle if you can. Do the optional essays (nothing is really ‘optional’) Study for the LSAT for at least 3 months (take breaks, don’t burn out) PROOF READ Everything happens for a reason :)
Start the personal statement earlier than you think you need to. It was the thing delaying me from applying earlier, because I wasn’t sure what to write about, or I wasn’t happy with what I had written.
Double check your resume…Very embarrassing to have to send a correction after submission admitting that you spelled an honors society you are in wrong.
