A quick definition of agent for acceptance of service:

Agent for acceptance of service: This is a person or company who is authorized to receive legal documents on behalf of another person or company. They are also known as an agent for service of process. When someone needs to serve legal papers to a person or company, they can do so by delivering them to the agent for acceptance of service. This ensures that the legal documents are properly delivered and received by the intended recipient.

A more thorough explanation:

An agent for acceptance of service is a person or entity designated to receive legal documents on behalf of another person or entity. This agent is authorized to accept legal papers, such as a summons or complaint, on behalf of the person or entity they represent.

For example, a corporation may designate an agent for acceptance of service to receive legal documents related to a lawsuit. This agent would then be responsible for ensuring that the corporation receives the legal papers in a timely manner.

Another example would be an individual who is being sued and designates a friend or family member as their agent for acceptance of service. This person would then be responsible for accepting the legal papers on behalf of the individual being sued.

Overall, an agent for acceptance of service plays an important role in ensuring that legal documents are properly received and handled by the appropriate parties.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
