A quick definition of ancient document:

An ancient document is a piece of paper or other material that has words, symbols, or marks on it that are very old. It can be used as evidence to prove something because it has been around for a long time and has been kept in a safe place. It is called an ancient document because it is very old and has been around for at least 20 years. Other types of documents include those that show proof of ownership or authority, those that support a legal case, and those that are published by the government.

A more thorough explanation:

An ancient document is a tangible object that contains words, symbols, or marks that have been recorded. It can be used as evidence to prove a fact. Examples of ancient documents include deeds, agreements, title papers, letters, receipts, and other written instruments.

These documents are presumed to be authentic because of their physical condition, the length of time they have existed (20 or more years), and the fact that they have been maintained in proper custody. They are also known as ancient writings.

For example, a will that was written 50 years ago and has been kept in a safe deposit box would be considered an ancient document. Its physical condition and the fact that it has been kept in proper custody suggest that it is authentic.

Other types of documents include foreign documents, which originate from or were prepared in a foreign country, and public documents, which are issued or published by a political body or connected with public business.

Overall, ancient documents are important pieces of evidence that can be used to prove a fact in a legal case.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
