A quick definition of bishop:

Term: BISHOP

Definition: A bishop is a very important leader in the church. They are in charge of a big area called a diocese and are the highest-ranking member of the clergy there. They have special courts and can visit any part of their area whenever they want. They have a helper called a chancellor who helps them with church laws.

A more thorough explanation:

Definition: The highest-ranking member of the clergy within a diocese who is responsible for overseeing the spiritual and administrative affairs of the church.

For example, a bishop may preside over a diocese, which is a geographical area that includes several churches. The bishop is responsible for appointing and supervising priests, administering sacraments, and ensuring that the church's teachings are followed.

The bishop is subject to the authority of the archbishop of a province, who oversees several dioceses. The bishop may also have several courts under him and may visit any part of his diocese at any time. The bishop's chancellor is appointed to assist him in matters of ecclesiastical law and to hold his courts for him.

Overall, the bishop plays a crucial role in the organization and leadership of the church, and is responsible for ensuring that its members receive spiritual guidance and support.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
