Read a random definition: bairn's part

A quick definition of draft board:

A draft board is a group of civilians who are responsible for registering and selecting individuals for mandatory military service. This is done through the Selective Service System, which is a federal agency that registers all eligible individuals between the ages of 18-26 for military service. The Selective Service System also provides personnel to the Armed Forces during emergencies. The draft board was established in 1940 as a part of the War Manpower Commission and became independent in 1943.

A more thorough explanation:

Definition: A draft board is a group of civilians who register and select individuals for mandatory military service. This process is managed by the Selective Service System, a federal agency that registers all eligible persons between the ages of 18-26 for military service and provides personnel to the Armed Forces during emergencies.

Example: During times of war or national emergency, the draft board is responsible for selecting individuals to serve in the military. The board may consider factors such as age, health, and occupation when making their selections.

Explanation: The example illustrates how the draft board operates during times of national crisis. The board is responsible for selecting individuals who are eligible for military service and determining who will be called upon to serve. This process is important for maintaining a strong and capable military force to protect the country.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
