• Example 1: Agricultural Produce

  Imagine a vineyard owner, Ms. Rossi, mistakenly plants a section of grapevines on a strip of land that she believes is part of her property, but which actually belongs to her neighbor, Mr. Chen. When the grapes mature, Ms. Rossi harvests them and sells the wine produced from that harvest.

  In this scenario, the grapes and the subsequent profit from the wine constitute fructus rei alienae.
