Lockeanism

Read a random definition: lawful entry

A quick definition of Lockeanism:

Lockeanism is a theory that says people have the right to own things they create or work for. This theory is based on the idea that everyone has the right to own their own labor and use natural resources to make things. It is often used to talk about the rights of inventors, authors, and artists to their own creations.

A more thorough explanation:

Lockeanism is a philosophy that justifies private property based on the natural right of one's ownership of their own labor and the right to use nature's common property to the extent that one's labor can make use of it. This theory was developed by the philosopher John Locke and is often used to analyze the natural rights of inventors, authors, and artists in their own creations.

For example, according to Lockeanism, if an artist creates a painting using their own labor and materials, they have a natural right to own that painting and control its use. Similarly, if an inventor creates a new invention using their own labor and resources, they have a natural right to own that invention and control its use.

Lockeanism is often contrasted with other philosophical theories, such as personality theory and utilitarianism, which have different justifications for private property and ownership.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
