A quick definition of place of business:

A place of business is where someone works to make money. It can be a store, an office, or any other place where business is conducted. The principal place of business is the main office of a company, and the place of contracting is where a contract is signed. The place of delivery is where goods are sent, and the place of employment is where someone works for a business.

A more thorough explanation:

A place of business is a location where someone conducts their business. It can be a physical location, such as a store or office, or a virtual location, such as an online store.

  • A coffee shop
  • An accounting firm
  • An e-commerce website

These examples illustrate the different types of places of business. The coffee shop is a physical location where customers can come in and purchase coffee and other items. The accounting firm is also a physical location where clients can come in for meetings and consultations. The e-commerce website is a virtual location where customers can purchase items online.

The principal place of business is the main location of a corporation's executive offices. It is often referred to as the "nerve center" of the corporation.

If a corporation has its headquarters in New York City, then its principal place of business would be in New York City.

The place of contracting is the country or state where a contract is entered into.

If two parties in California enter into a contract, then the place of contracting would be California.

The place of delivery is the location where goods sold are to be sent by the seller. If no place is specified in the contract, then the seller's place of business is usually the place of delivery.

If a customer in Texas purchases a product from a seller in California and no place of delivery is specified, then the seller's place of business in California would be the place of delivery.

The place of employment is the location where work is carried out in connection with a business. It can be a physical location, such as an office or factory, or a virtual location, such as a remote work arrangement.

If someone works for a company as a software developer, then their place of employment would be the company's office where they work or their home if they work remotely.

I mean, idk how it's possible to end birth right citizenship without amending the constitution because to me the 14th amendment is pretty clear about it.
ross ulbricht tried to hire a hitman to kill 5 people
i am not that sympathetic to him

@KnowledgeableRitzyWasp: That might have been an FBI agent. It was most likely him and he was most likely doing it to retrieve stolen funds that corrupt FBI agents stole, but yeah moral gray area but me personally, cool with hitmen. It's not like it is uncommon to hire hitmen. I don't think the action itself is necessarily wrong but the intent behind it can be.

Like, Boeing whistblowers being killed by hitmen = wrong but a guy hiring hitmen to retrieve stolen funds = good to me.

@Dkk: Yeah, for sure. My guess is it'll go to SCOTUS and it'll be 8-1 or 7-2, saying that EO was unconstitutional.
