sex discrimination

Read a random definition: brevet

A quick definition of sex discrimination:

Sex discrimination is when someone is treated unfairly because of their gender, especially against women. It is against the law to discriminate based on gender, as well as other things like race, age, nationality, religion, or disability. Discrimination can happen in many areas of life, like employment, housing, education, and access to public places. Reverse discrimination is when minorities are given preferential treatment, which can negatively affect members of the majority group. Discrimination is wrong and everyone should be treated fairly and equally.

A more thorough explanation:

Definition: Sex discrimination is when someone is treated unfairly because of their gender, especially against women. It is a type of discrimination, which is when someone is treated differently because of their race, age, sex, nationality, religion, or disability. Federal law, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, prohibits employment discrimination based on any of these characteristics. Other federal statutes and state laws provide further protections against discrimination.

Example: A company only hires men for high-paying executive positions, even though women are equally qualified. This is an example of sex discrimination because the company is treating women unfairly based on their gender.

Explanation: Sex discrimination can happen in many different ways, such as in hiring, promotions, pay, and job assignments. It is illegal and can have serious consequences for the person or company engaging in it. Laws exist to protect people from discrimination and ensure that everyone is treated fairly and equally.

I mean, idk how it's possible to end birth right citizenship without amending the constitution because to me the 14th amendment is pretty clear about it.
ross ulbricht tried to hire a hitman to kill 5 people
i am not that sympathetic to him

@KnowledgeableRitzyWasp: That might have been an FBI agent. It was most likely him and he was most likely doing it to retrieve stolen funds that corrupt FBI agents stole, but yeah moral gray area but me personally, cool with hitmen. It's not like it is uncommon to hire hitmen. I don't think the action itself is necessarily wrong but the intent behind it can be.

Like, Boeing whistblowers being killed by hitmen = wrong but a guy hiring hitmen to retrieve stolen funds = good to me.

@Dkk: Yeah, for sure. My guess is it'll go to SCOTUS and it'll be 8-1 or 7-2, saying that EO was unconstitutional.
