A quick definition of transsexual:

Term: transsexual

Definition: Transsexual is an old word that means someone who feels like they are a different gender than the one they were born as. They might want to change their body to match how they feel inside. This can include taking hormones or having surgery. It's important to know that not everyone who identifies as transgender wants to change their body. Transgender is a more modern and inclusive word that includes all people who don't feel like their gender matches the one they were assigned at birth.

A more thorough explanation:

Transsexual is an outdated term used to describe someone whose gender identity does not match the sex they were assigned at birth. This means that they feel like they are a different gender than what they were told they are when they were born.

For example, if someone was born with a male body but feels like they are a female, they may identify as transsexual. They may want to change their body through hormones or surgery to match their gender identity.

It's important to note that not all transgender people identify as transsexual. Some may choose to live as their gender identity without any medical intervention.

Overall, transsexual is a term that is no longer commonly used and has been replaced by more inclusive language like transgender and gender non-conforming.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
