Got into law school as a reverse splitter. It’s very possible.
Not sure how valid my advice is (see waitlists below), but here goes: Take the LSAT when you’re ready. Take your time with the essays. Don’t stress too much. It’d be nice to get into every school, but you only need to get accepted once to be a lawyer!
Spend your time doing something better than looking at lsd.law.

Just give it your all; don’t hold yourself back. Would you rather wonder about the “what ifs” or know that you did everything you could? Once it’s said and done, just take a deep breath and trust the process… It’s out of your control now. Best of luck!
My alma mater rejected me, and this year was HARD. Pandemic, health issues - ya know, applying to law school is a mess and sucked. BUT, hang in there, it all works out in the end (and get off r/lawschooladmissions and this site - they’ll make you crazy)!
Be prepared to wait… for potentially a very long time. Law school applications are a long process, and (in my experience) stalking the r/lawschooladmissions sub and LSD will not make it move any faster. You are capable and you are qualified! Good luck!
Make your supplemental materials (Resume, Cover Letter, Essays, etc.) as strong as possible. These could be the difference between scholarship amounts.
please don’t be afraid to take a gap year (or a few) between undergrad and law school!!!! being able to articulate why law and why you’re going to be a great lawyer is more important to adcomms than what club you were president of or your favorite class
Got rejected ED on my birthday, don’t text Edit after cycle: I was deferred from Emory ED, and then wrote an LOCI and sent a few weeks after getting deferred. I also visited. I think this is how I got in given my stats. Def keep displaying interest!!!!
I had a very clear narrative about exactly why I was going to law school, and how it tied in with my work and life experiences. I think that probably helped. When I got into Yale I withdrew from everywhere else and didn’t wait for scholarship offers.
LSAT 160 GPA 3.00 2024–25 cycle
The most dangerous thing you can do every night is go to sleep because you only have a 50/50 chance of waking up the next day. If you do wake up the next day, take that 0 percent and push until you reach 100 percent of everything you want to accomplish.

Save up early bc apps are insanely expensive without fee waivers Start studying for the LSAT like a year in advance and if you can work with a private tutor, DO IT Listen to podcasts/absorb as much material about law school admissions as possible

Introducing the one and only GuardedDevil, who is more guarded than the Queen’s jewels and more devilish than a red hot chili pepper. Rumor has it that GuardedDevil is taking the June LSAT, so watch out world, we might have a legal genius on our hands!
Not editing these to preserve the stats, but got a 3.8 GPA 1L fall and transferred to GULC with financial aid. If you don’t get it the first time, try, try again!
