GPA is so low as a result of a semester consisting of 12 failed credit hours (4 classes) and after that making Dean’s List (>3.7) all 6 semesters until graduation. Wrote an addendum for it.
Don’t overthink things, cross your t’s and dot you i’s, and most importantly be patient and relax (as much as you can), it is going to be okay, even if you don’t get into your dream school.
Apply everywhere you want to go. The worst that could happen is they say no. Even if you receive a rejection, that is not an indicator of your worth or how successful you could be one day.

Make sure to be honest with your character and fitness issues. Focus on how you learned from the event and why it won’t happen again, on top of how you are determined to excel as a result.
In hindsight, I should have tried taking a second LSAT, but it is what it is. I had 3 letters of rec, wrote a Why School X essay for my top choice, and visited the campus of my top choice.
Apply earlier than I did lol - applying early doesn’t guarantee you will get a decision faster, but applying late nearly guarantees that you’ll be scrambling as deposit deadlines approach.
I am a single teen mom which helped explain my low GPA to admissions committees. First Lsat was a 159, gpa when applying was a 3.14. I sent in an updated transcript in apr 21 for waitlists
I did some really cool stuff in undergrad and yes it is actually T2 I’m no slouch. Also, I was a STEM major (I know, nobody cares BUT I DO) This process hurts. Be prepared to wait.

You’re meant to go wherever you end up. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box and go for something you might not normally go for. You never know.
Tier 3 Softs: First-gen, low-income; prestigious merit scholarship; T10 Undergrad Submitted diversity statement and optional essays. Applied later in cycle (December-January apps)
Wrote Why X’s/other essays for most schools in the T14. I would very much avoid applying to as many schools as I did – I think it’s a lot better to spend more time on fewer applications
