Everyone’s path to law school is different — some come straight from college, others after careers, parenthood, or service. Your story is your strength.
It’s a lot easier to pick a school when you look at the monthly payments for a 10 year private loan with compounding interest.

Apply to your top 10 targets.
Make sure your roommate remembers when you’re taking the LSAT and that his band isn’t practicing while you take the exam… it can be extremely distracting and detrimental to your score.

For those non traditional students, start putting together your application accounts and data even before you pick a school. Don’t want to miss the following cohorts application windows.
Law school admissions can be stressful and scary, but just getting to this point is a testament to your drive and hard work. Keep pushing and have fun with the process when you can :)
LSAT 152 GPA 2.91 2026–27 cycle
You can be the hardest working person with actual legal experience and these schools still won’t give you chance.
Do your applications in the fall, make sure your narrative is coherent, and study hard kids! (Also get off of Reddit and LSD until your decisions are in - you’re wasting precious time!)
After significant self-reflection, I decided to withdraw all applications this cycle. I will be reapplying for the Class of 2027 after pursuing some work and life experience. Good luck!

–apply early, esp. if you’re a splitter. –get those fee waivers. –get your target LSAT and then plan your cycle, rather than plan your cycle and assume your LSAT will fall in line.
Quit, don’t quit… Noodles, don’t noodles… You are too concerned about what was and what will be. There is a saying: yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift.
Have fun, be yourself, and write well. You are more than your numbers - your essays can make up for a less than stellar GPA/LSAT. This process is hard. Please remember you are loved :)
