Apply wide. Really wide. Embarrassingly wide. Then let the dust settle and make the smartest boring decision available. Prestige is a fine thing until you’re paying for it with money you don’t have chasing outcomes that aren’t guaranteed. The humble path taken confidently beats the prestigious path taken anxiously…
I think that a solid scholarship from a lower ranked school is better than less/no scholarship from a high ranked school!
Don’t compare yourself to others. Do your best to be your best and you will be successful.
Get your materials ready ASAP. I got mine ready to apply in the previous cycle, realized I would get no scholarship money so I waited for the next cycle since I had the ability to do so fortunately. With that I definitely feel it has benefitted me in the scholarship department. Also really think about where you…
I wish I only applied around the area I want to practice in. I’m only considering full tuition. I wasted a lot of time applying to East Coast schools that, in my heart, I’ll never go to. I feel like I couldn’t have had a better outcome even if I had scored higher on the LSAT. I slightly regret even taking it twice;…

Visit at least one law school and sit in on a class before you even apply! Then ask yourself if you can truly envision being totally immersed in that type of environment for a few years.
2 years of part time public interest legal clerking. super kjd (3 years of undergrad/graduating at 20). lgbt. adverse childhood circumstances + clerking made up the bulk of my personal statement. happy with how my cycle turned out and grateful to be going to law school :-)
Shoot your shot! Don’t let places like reddit tell you your LSAT/GPA are everything. Of course you need to fit the school, but your softs can really push you over the edge. Being a well-rounded applicant is a much bigger plus than people think.

And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulations produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. - Romans 5:3-4 This is the way that He has made for you. Trust Him if you know Him.
