Applying to a few schools for this cycle late after doing better on my first LSAT than I thought I would! Will apply more broadly and earlier with probably a higher GPA for next cycle after teaching in Spain for a year if this cycle goes poorly :) Update 3/2 - Interviewed at my top choice, went super well! hoping…

Don’t compare yourself to others. Do your best to be your best and you will be successful.
Work as hard as you can in college, study hard for the LSAT, try to apply early if possible – and above all else, PLEASE take care of your mental health. If that means stepping away from this site for a while, then do it. Do NOT sacrifice your wellbeing during this process. Develop good habits now, and carry them…
Super late applicant. Was planning on applying 2022-2023 cycle but ended up bumping up my lsat test date and finishing up my app at the last minute but in time for admissions at my first choice. For the non-traditional folks and those debating about delaying school a few years - work experience can more than make up…
Get your materials ready ASAP. I got mine ready to apply in the previous cycle, realized I would get no scholarship money so I waited for the next cycle since I had the ability to do so fortunately. With that I definitely feel it has benefitted me in the scholarship department. Also really think about where you…
Pay as much money as you can to do well the LSAT, especially if you are a splitter. A few thousand on a course can make up for tens of thousands in scholarships. Originally applied to 5 schools 2020-21 cycle with a 15low and got 4/5 waitlists, no acceptances. Reapplying this cycle with higher LSAT and fingers…
If you really really want to go to a school but are not confident you can get in, book a campus tour and bring in your best self that day so that you can meet in person with someone from the admission team and help them put a face to your application. Don’t wait for others to decide your fate, schedule your own…
It’s super easy to obsess over status checkers, Reddit, and LSD (I’m guilty of it) but try to enjoy your life as well. You’re going to get into the right place for you! Congrats on even applying- that’s more than a lot of people ever do. Good luck and if you haven’t heard it today, I’m proud of you.
Be firm in what you want. If you know where you want practice, go to the school that will best set you up for that. Don’t force it. There’s nothing wrong with trying again next cycle. Especially if you’re in a place rn that is treating you well. Don’t rush a transition.
今度は今度. 今は今. Next time is next time. Now is now.
Sometimes life just turns you upside down and you have to really look at yourself to decide what you want. Even then, you still may not know. Patience may be a virtue, but that doesn’t mean I have any. (waiting to hear back from schools)
Whatever time you feel you need for the LSAT add 3 more month. Blind review is super important! Understand why the incorrect answers are wrong so you don’t fall for a similar trap later. Apply early for the best chance at your school.
apply early and have faith in yourself! you may not end up where you want to be, but you will end up exactly where you are meant to be.
Don’t settle for your first LSAT score!! I took the LSAT 3 times. I started volunteering at my local legal clinic. I knew my gpa wasn’t great and found ways to get my soft stronger.
A lot of scholarship, location, and support system factors made Nebraska an easy decision for me and I love my interactions with Dean Moberly.
Check your application portals every hour bro I swear they’ve updated bro something has changed bro think about it bro!
