Admitted to University of KansasBig tip: if you did Americorps, TFA, Peace Corps, or even just are struggling financially, ask the admissions for a fee waiver. I paid for 2 applications total, excluding the CAS Report $45 fee, and that allowed me to actually apply to multiple schools in different regions I’m interested living in. Personal…
LSAT 159 GPA 2.43 2022–23 cycle
Attending Case Western Reserve University
If your GPA is like mine shoot for a 160. I did not want to take the LSAT again. I liked 7sage for LSAT prep. Dont worry about time limits until you understand most types of LR and LG question / game types. RC just read carefully and pretend it is an interesting reading passage . I studied full-time while working…

lsat score is apparently very important lol So, if your LSAT practice scores aren’t turning out well, my advice would be to see if your schools will accept GRE. Then take a good ole practice test any see if you are any better at GRE. If you are finding greater success with this test, I’d recommend ONLY taking the…
2 years UG gap to help family pay rent. Started studying March 2024, final test was October. Diagnostic with LG’s was 156, w/o was 160. Highest PT so was 177 (PT#158), average 167 but average for last 5 was 168. Study 2 times a week, practice test every 1-2 weeks using 7Sage. J.Y.‘s explanations are not super useful…
Apply wide. Really wide. Embarrassingly wide. Then let the dust settle and make the smartest boring decision available. Prestige is a fine thing until you’re paying for it with money you don’t have chasing outcomes that aren’t guaranteed. The humble path taken confidently beats the prestigious path taken anxiously…
Q: What do you wish you had known when you started applying? A: What I Know now.
Non-KJD applicant with unique softs and personal experiences around music and healthcare. Undergrad in music performance and post-bacc program in medical science. Also had an MBA at time of application. Looking at IP law (with contacts in boutique IP law firms making my law school decision less consequential than it…
prepare and apply early! I didn’t prepare well enough for the LSAT so I took it again in January, so I didn’t go complete at most schools until early February. Stats are obviously not everything in an application, but I saw people with stats very similar to mine who applied much earlier in the cycle get in and get…

email and ask for fee waivers if you have even mildly competitive stats for that school on that note, budget for your application cycle, I ended up spending about $1200 between apps and the lsat, and that’s on the low end there’s so much info on law schools, especially between this site and the ABA 509 disclosures.…
You are likely to get surprising results (both good and bad) from schools that you are applying to. This is why it is important to apply broadly as well as early in the cycle. Applying in September is preferable. If you are going to apply in January or later, just wait for the next cycle.
LSAT 167 GPA 3.67 2023–24 cycle
Attending Indiana University - Bloomington
Ask for fee waivers everywhere- , no matter what your stats are. I didn’t pay a single application fee and saved hundreds of dollars. This is a fairly predictable game. You don’t need more than 2-3 safety schools. I wasted time working on so many applications to places that I wouldn’t even want to attend. LSAT Demon…
Just remember, Big Law is awful. I mean, just absolutely awful. I don’t know what will happen with my law school application(s), but going to Harvard or Cornell or Duke - there’s one desired outcome for most of those students - to go work at a massive corporation with other attorneys. Don’t let that shit get to you.…
Phone Interviews are a great chance to make a good impression and speak to admission about your legitimate concerns and serious interest in the university’s program. Be polite and professional. Send a “thank you” email following the interview. 100% always get the LSAT score preview. It is worth the extra cost.
