UVA - I went UR2 end of Sept, read that you could send in a LOCI if you hadn’t heard back from them in months so I sent…

During the time in between I had attended the Waitlist webinar (they know if you attended it and mark it down) and had sent 3 LOCIs (1 per month). …is an awesome way to make students feel wanted. I interviewed with Dean Andy in a group-style Zoom meeting. The questions were simple and light-hearted, and everyone I know from the group got an offer of admission. The scholarship was very generous too, easily outnumbering my offers from every other T14 school, even…

Interviewed with UChicago, Northwestern, and group interview for GULC
Wrote every optional essay possible and a Why X to avoid YP outside the T6. Did not write any DS. If you get an HLS interview, make sure you’re really jazzed and emphasize that it’s your first choice. That’s what I think got me WL’ed, since my interview otherwise went really well.
…one was personal and decently researched. Had an alum interview with GULC, no hardball questions, mostly just talked about why law school and why GULC; wasn’t sent the merit aid application form, had to reach out to admissions and ask for it; Did NU Kira, six questions, was cut off while answering the first question…

UVA has been an absolutely amazing fit for me and I love it here. Law…
