Shoot your shot, because it only takes one. Quite frankly, I showed UVA some incredibly rabid interest and it paid off. Don’t be afraid to tell schools just how much you love them. Feel free to message me on Reddit if you are a stats twin.

Admitted to Washington and Lee University“I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo. “So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
The most important part of your application is creating a cohesive narrative! Figure out what your story is, and weave it through your resume, personal statement, and supps. :)
Just give your best. That is all anyone can ask you for.
Be kind to yourself
Went from 163 in October➡️ 167 in November➡️ 172 in January, so if you think you can do better, try taking the LSAT again. Also, the extra month in between November and January LSAT helped. I’ll update this at the end. (◕︵◕)
Evaluate the career services and writing programs at schools you’re considering. Those are hands-down the 2 most important things for post-graduation success.
Keep taking the LSAT. And take it in-person. I went 162 -> 168 -> 167 -> 168 -> 175. The last one was the only one I didn’t take at home or in a stupid hotel. Remote test-taking sucks. Go to the testing place.
Wrote “Why X” essays, had a pretty solid personal statement. LGBTQ. Unsure if URM or not – I’m white and “Canadian Aboriginal,” and schools seem to vary on if I count if I’m not part of a US-recognized tribe.
Two lessons: Apply early and don’t waste your money on LSAT prep if it ain’t 7Sage! Also, if you have the finances, shoot your shot at the reach schools. It didn’t work for me but at least I can say I tried!
Apparently T16-T27 schools (minus USC) hate me lol
Sent a Why X to Penn, UVA, Duke, Georgetown, Michigan Legal internship experience (w/ District Attorney) Massive upwards trend in GPA (started college pre-med, wrote addendum for all schools)
Don’t overthink. Trust the process and do your best. Refuse massive debt! I recommend getting a tutor for the LSAT. I used Powerscore and it helped me go from 162 –> 170 after months of hitting a wall
Let me in
Full-Throated af Applied last cycle (2020-2021) with a 159 LSAT. Full cycle details here: https://www.lsd.law/users/creep/Ambulance-Chaser Max out your LSAT attempts if you have the time/resources
This such a stressful process - you are worthy !! Some of the under review/timeline data is wonky because I took the February LSAT and told some schools to hold until they received the score.
ED at GULC and deferred to RD GPA boost mid-cycle lots of extracurriculars and some cool job experiences but not t3 types Don’t ask why I applied to Harvard I don’t know either
If you get diagnosed with a life-changing medical condition during undergrad, take time off IMMEDIATELY instead letting a semester of poor health tank your otherwise stellar GPA.
