Texas Tech: 11/19 - accepted, and with $$! The scholarship surprised me: $12,500 a year. EDIT - they just called to officially extend…

…do your best on your Personal Statement - yes, it matters! Waitlist tips: If you can, hold on to your waitlist for as long as possible if you know you really want to go there (and can make it there on short notice). Sometimes it’s small, but there’s always a chance that you could get admitted. Don’t forget to…
…I’ve received. I’m not someone who would like to wait on a waitlist for personal planning reasons so once I received my last few decisions, I withdrew from my waitlists and some of my lower preference acceptances. As of right now, the choice is between Texas Tech and Penn State Carlisle. Waiting to see if PSU can…

Got into a 100+ law school I panic applied to in April with a full ride then a few weeks later off the waitlist at Oregon with 25k/yr in scholarship. …for the amount of $75,000 in scholarship. 1/8 Texas A&M waitlisted, withdrew 1/19 Tulane WL, withdrew. Sucks. This was one of my top choices but knew even if admitted it was too pricey without $$$. 2/3 SMU status checker notified of acceptance. Call the following day from the admission dept with scholarship email…
Not a bad cycle overall. I got waitlisted more than I was expecting. Some advice: show interest! If you would consider a school and hold it above another school, then go to interest meetings and schedule meetings 1:1 with admissions people.
