time agreement

Read a random definition: sixty clerks

A quick definition of time agreement:

Time Agreement: A promise made by the leaders in the U.S. Senate to limit the amount of time allowed for talking about a new law or change to an existing law. This helps to make sure that everyone has a chance to speak and that the process doesn't take too long. It's also called a unanimous-consent agreement.

A more thorough explanation:

A time agreement is a pact made by the party leaders in the U.S. Senate to limit the time allowed for debate on a bill or amendment. This agreement is also known as a unanimous-consent agreement.

Let's say there is a bill being discussed in the Senate. The party leaders can come together and agree on a time agreement that limits the amount of time each senator can speak about the bill. This helps to ensure that the bill is discussed and voted on in a timely manner.

Another example could be during a presidential debate. The moderators may have a time agreement with the candidates, limiting the amount of time each candidate has to answer a question. This helps to ensure that all candidates have an equal amount of time to speak and that the debate stays on schedule.

Overall, time agreements are important in ensuring that discussions and debates are productive and efficient.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
Give it 4 more weeks at least. Everyone in this chat needs to wait longer.
