When you feel you’ve done all you can do and you’re left with no hope.. Just PRAY! The lord is the one who will hear you in your hardest times. He is the one who will guide you, but only if you keep your faith & hope in him.
Do not burn yourself out with studying, keep a balance in your life – enjoy your weekends, hang with friends – when it’s time to study, focus up and avoid distractions You will end up where you belong, do not over stress!
Graduating undergrad in 3 years, pre-law society, economics major, Spanish minor, Vice President of Model UN Club, corporate internships, part-time jobs during the school year, national language honor society, volunteer work
I highkey sold my trauma, I’d recommend it (Black, queer, nonbinary, trans fam wya?) On a serious note, my story is definitely what sold me to my reach and match schools, if anything. Don’t be scared to show your passion!
Your stats are not the definition of thy self, and all that matters in the end is how hard you can work, and why you are working that hard. Continue on a path of greatness and you will see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Went from 163 in October➡️ 167 in November➡️ 172 in January, so if you think you can do better, try taking the LSAT again. Also, the extra month in between November and January LSAT helped. I’ll update this at the end. (◕︵◕)

Evaluate the career services and writing programs at schools you’re considering. Those are hands-down the 2 most important things for post-graduation success.
Apply to any and every school you have an interest in (ask for fee waivers), see which schools accept you, weigh the scholarships with the prestige that each school carries, and then make the best decision for your future.
Wrote (most) optional statements. Softs include unique military experience. Four years work experience. Out of college 5 years by fall ’21. First generation Bachelors and graduate degree student, rural high school.
STEM major/business minor. Otherwise, fairly average softs (legal & financial internships, volunteer work, club leadership positions, TA experience, etc). T20 undergrad. Did not apply for aid at NYU, Duke, or Northwestern.
Apply to high reach schools even if you know for sure you won’t get in! I regret not applying solely because I will never know for certain. There was obviously something about my app these schools like aside from my stats.
Applied with a 3.84 and GPA increased after first semester senior year. I transferred after my first year at a big public school to a tiny liberal arts school I took the LSAT 3 times, with one cancel, and two kept scores
It’s okay for everything not to go to plan. You don’t NEED a 170+ LSAT and a perfect, stacked resume. You need persistence and hard work. You’ve got this!
