i’m an r&r. 163 with only a month of studying yayyyyy!!!!! now i’m actually studying (help)!!!!!!!!!!! don’t turn in applications late. do regular/early decision. i’m planning to take the august or september lsat.

I didn’t think I wanted to be a lawyer till I was 30. I also didn’t know my GPA would be scrutinized to the point I will be lucky if I get into a decent school.
Don’t worry about the prestige and the rankings. It matters so much less than you think. Go to the school that fits you.
Everyone makes it seem like if you aren’t above at least one of the medians, you will be waitlisted or rejected. I’m proof this isn’t the case! Of course ED helps. Probably being a STEM major doesn’t hurt either.
don’t be like me!!!!!!!! aim to apply early (Sept-Thanksgiving) however definitely only apply when ready If you are retaking the LSAT in a later point in the cycle: Aim to use no later than Jan or Feb LSAT score.
Applying to law school is: stressful, overwhelming, and scary. It’s also full of hope, opportunity, and joy. Feel your feelings; they are all valid. Remember that you are beautiful and strong, and I believe in you.
Send it. Just absolutely send it. Have the confidence that regardless of where you end up you will be a successful attorney, everything else is out of your hands. All applications were submitted in early December.
Study for your LSAT unlike me. And don’t look at r/lawschooladmissions because you’ll give yourself unnecessary stress and an unrealistic standard to compare yourself to. Comparison is the thief of joy. Goodluck <3
If you talk about mental health in your application, make sure you articulate why it will not be a liability to your legal education. This is my third cycle, and I could not be happier with my decision. Go Gophers!
Apply early in the cycle if you can. Do the optional essays (nothing is really ‘optional’) Study for the LSAT for at least 3 months (take breaks, don’t burn out) PROOF READ Everything happens for a reason :)

The LSAT is the worst part of this process. Completing applications is the worst part of this process. Waiting for decisions is the worst part of this process, definitely. This cycle is cursed. I am reapplying.
