GPA 3.00 2027–28 cycle
It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Grit and diligence gets your name mentioned in rooms you aren’t in (and that’s where opportunity lives).
GPA 2.90 2023–24 cycle
It’s okay to change career paths, even when you think it’s too late. The worst thing you can do is live in regret about maybe doing something, instead of “I did it, it did/did not work out, what’s next…”
Hello fellow LSD lurkers! All apps were submitted between December 2nd and 8th. Started studying for the LSAT during the summer of my junior year. Sat the exam twice, highest score was September 2023.

Oct 163 –> Nov 171 my #1 piece of advice is to ask for fee waivers! almost all of my waivers were solicited. i asked for them in september even though I hadn’t taken the LSAT yet and had really good luck
I was in the Peace Corps and was therefore given fee waivers for every school but Cornell and Columbia. Cornell said they granted waivers for Returned Peace Corps volunteers but they never got back to me.
Def think my work in the legal community helped with my low LSAT. I also am an early graduate and spending time abroad, which some admissions teams liked to hear :) SMU has been my top choice from day one!
Don’t freak out. I’m retaking the LSAT loud sigh

Always try to attend events for the school you’d like to attend! Also, always start preparing LOCI’s. You’ll never know what school you get waitlisted from. That way, you can send the letter right away.
Electrical Engineer that worked a couple internships and worked at Raytheon for a year & a half. Planning on becoming a patent attorney. Hopefully this profile can help other STEM majors getting into law!
Rec letters really made the difference for me. I worked hard with my reccomenders to let them know how important this portion of the application is and got complimented on my letters from admissions staff
Let the schools tell YOU no if you have the means to make it rain applications. I strongly suggest 7Sage to study. I also used the LSAT Trainer, and the first 5 pages of the PowerScore Logic games bible.
Apparently T16-T27 schools (minus USC) hate me lol
Softs: D3 Athlete, Relevant internships, Leadership, Bilingual Be genuine in your essays. Demonstrate perspective, humility, and maturity. And relax a little bit (please guys you are stressing me out)
