Admitted to Texas Southern UniversityHi everyone! My name is Anna. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Writing. After graduating, I worked as a paralegal full-time at a personal injury law firm. I took the LSAT in August 2024 and…
You stats aren’t the only thing that matters. Ensure your softs are as strong as they can possibly be If you choose to be on reddit, be kind and seek reasonable advice (however people’s opinions aren’t the end all be all) Again, if you choose to be on reddit, be kind. Law schools are on reddit too Shoot your shot,…
Keep your GPA high. If your GPA is low, study hard for the LSAT. If your GPA & LSAT are low, build your resume to the moon. If all else fails, write the most influential and heart wrenching personal statement possible.
**Attending University of Minnesota off the Waitlist ** Applied in November -> WL on Jan 24 -> LOCI on Feb 9 -> A on April 6. This was totally unexpected but it came with enough scholarship money to make my decision easy. My LOCI focused on their IP concentration, my interest in staying in Minneapolis after…
Seek God and everything else shall be added unto you. took 5 gap years off. Traveled, worked, and waited on God to put all the pieces together for me. Excited for this new season in my life.
My advice for the future generations reading this is: don’t worry about anything; you’ll be fine! 3-28-23 Update: 147 OG score when applications were sent out in late March, then 157 on the June LSAT. I only notified four schools (from which I was previously denied) of my new score. I emailed LSU and Ole Miss, which…
My goal is to graduate with as little debt as possible, ideally none :)
Whatever time you feel you need for the LSAT add 3 more month. Blind review is super important! Understand why the incorrect answers are wrong so you don’t fall for a similar trap later. Apply early for the best chance at your school.
don’t be like me!!!!!!!! aim to apply early (Sept-Thanksgiving) however definitely only apply when ready If you are retaking the LSAT in a later point in the cycle: Aim to use no later than Jan or Feb LSAT score.
Don’t freak out. I’m retaking the LSAT loud sigh
Apply early and ensure you write a strong personal statement and addendums. Give yourself the best opportunity. Be patient to wait and reapply the next year if it’s somewhere you truly want to go.
A low LSAT score is not necessarily a huge detriment to being admitted into law school. Your GPA and soft factors can go a long way, especially with a good personal statement!
You Will Go To Law School, You Will Pass The Bar, You Will Own Your Own House, Car, Tire Swing, & You Have To Stop Stressinnng… (◕ ⌣ ◕)

Fervently chase your goals. You should never be the first one to tell yourself “no”.
Amazing Letters of recommendation and a good personal statement makes the world of difference
