Had a 3.07 LSAC GPA and a 3.81 transcript GPA from an Ivy League for undergrad. Didn’t find that my GPA addendum (very serious heath issues leading to academic probation) made a lick of difference.

Get off LSD and never come back.
Create a vision for your future as early as possible. It doesn’t matter if your plan doesn’t materialize exactly as you expect, none do. However, you won’t get anywhere if you don’t start walking.
At the end of the day, I am someone who values being debt free. Getting a full-ride is going to allow me to put any loans towards housing/living expenses. Prestige is great, but I am a simple gal!

Take the LSAT 2-3 times until you score at or above your LSAT PT average. Give yourself 5+ months to study for the LSAT as well! Apply in September if you can, and definitely before Thanksgiving.
LSAT 151 GPA 2.90 2020–21 cycle
-Wrote GPA addendum for a few, wrote a DS for all except FIU, C&F addendum for all -LSAC fee waiver paid for 6 of the CAS fees, got a fee waiver for all via email or because of the LSAC waiver
Applied end of October/early November. No supplemental essays for Chicago, Harvard, Columbia or NYU. “Why X” essays for Michigan, Duke, Penn, Cornell, and UVA. Failures essay for Michigan.
Reapplicant! Applied to schools last cycle with a 150 LSAT. Did not have a successful cycle. Retook in April 2024 and got a 160. Ready for fall of 2025!! UR dates: 11/5/24, 11/13/24, 11/14/24 A!
Apply early and ensure you write a strong personal statement and addendums. Give yourself the best opportunity. Be patient to wait and reapply the next year if it’s somewhere you truly want to go.
Apply before the end of November if you can. I hurt myself a little, I think, by taking the LSAT late (in Nov.) and then taking forever on writing essays. But I’m really happy with where I landed.
Be patient and avoid checking your app status every 45 minutes like I did if you value your sanity. It will all work out in the end!
