Admitted to Arizona State UniversityRecognize how much of a blessing it is that you can offset your four-year GPA with your two-hour LSAT score. STUDY FOR THE TEST AND TAKE PREP TESTS WEEKLY.
Uhhh, work hard, do a lot more outside of studying for LSAT and GPA that you both love and can make an impact on your communities, and have fun with it. At the end of the day, you want to be a lawyer right? Then going to law school is the goal, where you go is always secondary.
-Only 5 weeks to study for LSAT, taken only once -Biology BS (3.29) to Biology PhD but dropped after one year (3.885) -My C&F was a very minor traffic ticket that was only reported to a few schools based on guidelines -Email schools for waivers. The worst they say is no (or not respond)! I was able to solicit…

…and it was the absolute rock bottom moment of my life. The LSAT and law school gave me a goal and a vision to strive for. A way to better my life and achieve what I thought I was capable of. I had been humbled beyond belief, but I was not out of it yet. I ended my relationship and entered into a training montage of…
…probably lying through their teeth anyways. (2) Start studying for the LSAT early. If you’ve been out of school a while, you might need months or even years to get back into the swing of studying every day and taking exams. APPLICATION PHASE (3) Apply broadly, but figure out WHERE you would SERIOUSLY go. Don’t just…
…ridiculous sometimes. Just do the best you can, take the LSAT as many times as it takes to get a 170+, and lean into your softs. I don’t have any family members or friends in law, and had no idea what I was doing when I applied. I was just very candid and transparent in my application, and studied for the LSAT for…
…Cornell-bound! Good luck to all, spend more time studying for the LSAT than I did.
Start studying for the LSAT sophomore year :(
Do your very best in undergrad. Once your GPA is finalized, that’s it. Also, take your time studying for the LSAT. Do not take the test until you are absolutely ready.
Hard work and a cohesive narrative help a lot. I spent approximately 1 year (mixed levels of intensity) studying for the LSAT and went from 152 to 171. I’m a KJD, but I’ve had several unusual internships. I’m also an engineering major in a genuinely unique program. Experiences in this program have shaped my…
Applied to ASU ED My entire goal since I started studying for the LSAT is to go to school there. I’m a non traditional super splitter. Wish me luck/pray for me
Re-applicant from last cycle. Spent the whole spring and summer studying for the LSAT, took it in August, and improved from 161 to 168.
Study for the LSAT at least 2 years before you plan on applying…
R&R if you are not happy with your first cycle results. I only got into Temple the previous cycle and WL at 3 T-14s. I knew I could do better, so I studied for the LSAT for 3 months, got a job in the legal field, volunteered, and refined my essays. Apply as early as possible, especially if below medians. I think the…
…story of self growth to tell of my 5 years post college. Study hard for the LSAT and write your ass off on the essays and you’ll surprise yourself.
Start studying WAY before your LSAT! I only gave myself ~3 months, which was not nearly enough. Take it multiple times. I recommend taking it once early on in the process to get the test jitters out/down and then retaking later once you have a consistent PT score. Request Fee Waivers! Most schools give them out, so…
