༼つ ◕◕༽つ G I V E⭐A⭐W A V E ༼つ ◕◕༽つ Disappointing cycle, however I have full confidence in my choice after visiting. In hindsight, I recommend retaking LSAT until you score the highest you can. Keep your GPA as high as you can in college. and remember- comparison is the thief of joy

Admitted to Santa Clara UniversityYou can do this! Don’t let anyone tell you can’t! I applied to UNLV, Santa Clara, USF, and McGeorge with my original LSAT score which was a 163. Then later I scored a 168 in January and asked the rest of the schools to un-hold my application and review it with my most recent score.
LSAT 164 GPA 3.77 2025–26 cycle
Admitted to University of California—Davis
Apply early, and study hard for the LSAT
Apply early, ideally before Thanksgiving. Make sure your essays are *excellent *and write any optional essays offered. I put a lot of work into my essays and I think ultimately they helped a lot to compensate for my < 3.0 GPA and made me competitive for scholarships.
Chemistry PhD 3.9 PhD GPA. Several talks at conferences, multiple first/sole author papers in my field. Want to do Intellectual Property law, so my app was pretty focused on the type of law I want to practice and why/my background. Maybe tier 3 softs idk lol
Apply early and broadly. I do think clearly taking ownership of my C&F issues as well as explaining why it wouldn’t be an issue in law school was the right approach.
Make sure you have safety schools!!! Scholarships > Rankings
Don’t spend every second of you day on LSD or reddit, I regret making this mistake. Decisions will come when they come, and literally nothing you can do to change that.
Apply to 15 - 30 schools. Generally, schools (outside T14) do not consider acceptances from competitors outside the metro when reconsidering scholarship packages. Leverage regional scholarship packages upward based on USN ranking.
Keep taking the LSAT. And take it in-person. I went 162 -> 168 -> 167 -> 168 -> 175. The last one was the only one I didn’t take at home or in a stupid hotel. Remote test-taking sucks. Go to the testing place.
take the LSAT seriously, its one of the biggest things that can control the outcome of your cycle. Just remember even without t14 A’s, you can still be a fantastic lawyer. An A is an A, be proud of yourself!
1.)Grad GPA was 3.72. 2.) 8 years WE (non-traditional) in education 3.) C and F issue. someone called campus police for noise issue freshmen year of college. Social probation for 1 academic year.
Tail of the lion or head of the dog?
Law school elitism is real. If you compare yourself to everyone else, you’ll spend your whole academic and legal career disappointed. Make the most of what you have and be your best self.
Bachelor’s in STEM major from a foreign country Currently doing master’s Submitted GRE (V160s, Q160s) along with LSAT A’s and R’s are pretty much expected…
Know your strengths as well as your weaknesses. Originally applied to nearly all schools in September with a 160. Retook January LSAT for my current 167.
There’s no use crying over spilt milk. And there’s no use crying over not spilt milk either. Just try not to cry about milk in general, I reckon.
If you have low stats like me for the love of god apply early and get good letters of recommendation from people who actually know you.
