If you want to stay local or even in-state, I would only consider applying to out-of-state law schools if you are January LSAT or earlier. Also, apply before you get your score and if you are concerned, put your application on hold so it does not get rejected automatically.

Essays, recs, and other intangibles matter. Know why you want to do law, be authentic, and bet on yourself. If you’re stuck on an LSAT question, move on and come back. You’ll have fresh eyes and no point spinning your wheels. You may even notice context from later RC questions.

Don’t let all this nonsense get into your head. You can go to a good law school with a low LSAT and GPA.
Prestige isn’t everything; what really matters is happiness and making an impact in the lives of others.
Work in your community and have a good sense of why you want to go to law school.
Take lots of time on your apps. It took me a few months after taking the LSAT to write my essays. Take a gap year or a few like I did and follow your passion! Your story will write itself with time.
