LORs were the most annoying part of the application process for me. Had all my app components compete in September but didn’t get my last LOR until December. Ask for more letters than you need. I asked 6 months in advance but unfortunately both of my Professors managed to injure themselves in such a way that they…

Admitted to New England Law | BostonApply earlier than you think and make sure your application conveys your “Why” Cycle Update 3/26/2026 This cycle has been a whirlwind, I felt thrown off about 87% of the time, but I’m overall super happy with the acceptances I’ve received. I’m not someone who would like to wait on a waitlist for personal planning…
Look at my lawyer, dawg, i’m going to jail
Take a deep breath, get yourself a cinnamon roll, and watch the office <3 ““You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” -Wayne Gretzky” -Michael Scott I panic applied to so many schools because I was unsure how my cycle would turn out as a reverse splitter. My cycle is proof that the LSAT isn’t everything! My…

Attending Albany Law School Of Union University
Apply as early as you can without rushing your application. Write every optional essay when given the chance. And ABOVE ALL, take a break, go for a walk. Each school will be moving at its own pace - no matter how often you check this website it won’t move the process along any faster :)
Military paralegal with 10 years’ service, first degree GPA of 2.4 from 2012 and second degree GPA of 3.8 from 2022. I took the LSAT in 2009 and received a score of 159, and after a year of study while working, I took it again in 2021 with a score of 168. I genuinely feel that if I had continued my LSAT studies, I…
My goal in entering the 2022/23 Cycle: Get a full ride (or very close); Receive no conditions on said full ride; Be in Washington State (but also consider other states just in case). I ended up choosing Gonzaga Law. Some of this stems from my desire to be in WA State, even Eastern WA, long term. Secondly, I want to…
My application journey is nearing its completion, but you, dear traveler, might still have a ways to go. I now bestow upon you the bits of knowledge I have gathered thus far, and I wish you the best of luck. LSAT PREP: I know a 161 is not the highest score ever, but I improved from a 151 cold diagnostic score to a…
Splitter Advice Apply to less schools- : if you’re hesitant about living somewhere, it might not be the right fit. Tell your story, focus on the highs- : if you spend a paragraph in an addendum describing adverse circumstances from undergrad, spend a paragraph describing how you bounced back and put yourself in a…

This process isn’t remotely as cut and dry as people who post on here and Reddit would have you believe. Not a single calculator predicted the school I got into or the scholarship I was offered – who you are and what you personally bring to the table matters too. Set your sights high, cast a wide net, and be open to…
You’ve already achieved goals you said would make you happy.
Write every optional, that’s what carried me.
As a KJD, this will probably be the hardest academic process you’ve ever gone through in your life. But, it isn’t impossible: keep your head up and remember that not everyone can go down this path, and rely on the skills that got you to this point!
Be yourself. You are playing your own game. Present a compelling case for yourself and you will have options. Most law school admissions advice: is bad- is too general will not apply to you Critically examine information, then do what is best for you.
Stats are not everything!! Apply to the schools you truly are passionate about and be intentional when it comes to your application. Every part of the application matters.
