LSAT 156 GPA 3.86 2025–26 cycle

stay off reddit, and limit your time on here too. if you find yourself checking this site every day, please make a conscious effort to stop. pick up a new hobby. touch grass. im not joking. this site is majorly helpful for future applicants but exacerbates anxiety for current applicants. splitters: apply as early as…

LSAT 164 GPA 2.78 2023–24 cycle

Admitted to Baylor University

If you are first gen law school applicant, take a year to learn about application process, then apply early in the following cycle. I would have changed so many things knowing what I know now. Also, I wouldn’t listen too much to the “shoot your shot” advice. In my experience with good softs (imho), I didn’t get in…

LSAT 158 GPA 3.94 2025–26 cycle

Attending Southern Methodist University

When someone tells you to start working on applications 18 months before you are going to enter 1L, take them seriously and start studying/drafting. Don’t put the extra procrastination stress on yourself if you can help it.

LSAT 153 GPA 3.41 2025–26 cycle

Attending South Texas College Of Law—Houston

You need support, and whatever that means in terms of you. The journey to law school is a long, drawn out process. If you’re like myself, being first-gen, I had no clue what to expect (my advice also applies to Non-Trad applicants because as we get older relatability becomes more difficult because everyone’s lives…

LSAT 151 GPA 3.42 2022–23 cycle

Attending South Texas College Of Law—Houston

I was honestly shocked by my results. Given my numbers, I didn’t expect to get waitlisted at Penn State or OU. They were reaches for me, like most schools I applied to. I genuinely think it was due to my strong personal statement and unique softs. But we’ll never know, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. If I…

LSAT 159 GPA 2.84 2022–23 cycle

Attending South Texas College Of Law—Houston

Non-traditional student looking only in Houston area for schools. Can’t change my GPA so worked on higher LSAT. Went from 140-159 self studying using Kahn Academy and PowerScore. LSAT 165 GPA 3.60 2025–26 cycle

Attending Duquesne University

Apply wide. Really wide. Embarrassingly wide. Then let the dust settle and make the smartest boring decision available. Prestige is a fine thing until you’re paying for it with money you don’t have chasing outcomes that aren’t guaranteed. The humble path taken confidently beats the prestigious path taken anxiously…

LSAT 161 GPA 3.81 2023–24 cycle

Admitted to University of North Carolina

If you are planning to take a gap year to work fulltime, try to study for the LSAT before you start working because you will not be able to optimally prioritize and dedicate time to the LSAT while working. LSAT resources used: 7sage, PowerScore Bible Trilogy, The Loophole Rather than just prioritizing rankings, take…

LSAT 159 GPA 3.55 2024–25 cycle

Work as hard as you can in college, study hard for the LSAT, try to apply early if possible – and above all else, PLEASE take care of your mental health. If that means stepping away from this site for a while, then do it. Do NOT sacrifice your wellbeing during this process. Develop good habits now, and carry them…

LSAT 153 GPA 3.23 2025–26 cycle

Admitted to Loyola University—New Orleans

I was roofied my freshman year which took a huge emotional toll on me. Sophomore year I had almost 20 trips to the emergency room/hospital for ovarian cysts which caused my GPA to fall. Was able to get all As and a few Bs to bring it back up some in the following semesters, but they only do so much. I wrote an…

LSAT 164 GPA 2.80 2023–24 cycle

Attending Texas Tech University

No matter your stats, write a genuine personal statement that shows who you are. Some schools care about stats, especially those trying to climb the rankings, but the good ones want to see more than just a number when they evaluate their applicants. Also, apply to reach schools. You never know what could happen.

LSAT 159 GPA 3.46 2022–23 cycle

Admitted to South Texas College Of Law—Houston

APPLY EARLY! If I could go back, I would prioritize applying early and having all my writing components complete by Aug/Sept Secondly, score really really does matter. Study hard, give it your best, but know you will end up where you need to be (:

LSAT 158 GPA 3.42 2023–24 cycle
